About: I've worked with CARE on various projects since 1995, including: communications work from Niger during the 2005 food crisis; national media relations for CARE following the Indian Ocean tsunami and Hurricane Jeanne of 2004; and production work for "The Last Child: The Global Race to End Polio", a television documentary that aired on more than 150 public television stations in the U.S. as well stations in Japan, Spain, Portugal, Brazil and throughout all of Asia. My background is primarily in media relations, including positions with CARE, the national headquarters of the American Cancer Society and CNN.
