About: I'm a Web Development Specialist for Health Sciences Communications at Emory University. I'm responsible for the main WHSC web site, various smaller WHSC-operated web sites, as well as the distribution of electronic press releases. I'm responsible for technical as well as content-related work, including multimedia work like podcasts, video, online slide shows, and content for iTunes U. My 10 years in web development includes work at the Georgia Division of Public Health, Georgia Tech and the Atlanta Regional Commission. I also operate one-woman consulting firm, Metro Girl, which has developed and/or maintained over 50 web sites since 1998. I'm is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where I majored in journalism.
