Dearest journalists, technologists, and everybody in-between,

I'm one of the two programmer-journalists who Rich Gordon talked about this morning.

When people find that out, they usually ask one thing: What the devil are you going to do when you graduate?

My usual response: I have no idea, but it's going to be really interesting.

Ten months from now, I'll have a masters degree in journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, and I'll have to leave the cozy nest of graduate school.
