I listened to one of the music/news mashups... I thought it was cool, but I'm both a news and a tech nerd.
Dave, remember our old time -- lunches at Nan and other places. Will be great to connect with you again. Looking forward to.
hey ezra,
i'd be interested to talk to you about your work at current, as i'm interested in citizen reporting/producing of media and journalism. perhaps we could grab a cup of coffee at a break?
The last phrase of your comments interests me, "how people consume media." I'm in newspapers, as you are, and trying to morph our newsroom while riding out the sea change. I'd be interested in reading or hearing your perspectives.

Hi Laura:
Now this time make sure you have a dog sitter, so you can party long into the night with no worries.
Hi Michael:
Let's meet for sure, I want to tell you about a Minnesota project I will be helping to run.
Hi Nora, it looks like you have some very cool stuff going on at UMN. Looking forward to chatting.
Hey Mark,
I think we'll have lots to talk about! Looking forward to this chance to meet....
See you soon - Nora
Aha, you'll be at this conference, too. Excellent. Somebody here at Emory pointed me to it and I managed to get somebody to pay for it on short notice.
I'm glad to see that your networking activities won't extend too far beyond your comfort zone!
Matt: I wish to join your crusade against data ghettos. Where do I sign up? :-) Looking forward to meeting you.
Hey Matt!
Just found out today that I will be attending. I'd love to catch up when you have some time.
The best beverage with beans and rice depends on the setting. If you're eating alone, water; with your parents, iced tea; with friends, beer.
Yes, I'm totally excited about coming! I'm arriving on Feb. 20. When are you getting there and where are you staying?
Yeah, absolutely. Happy to talk about it. We'll be rolling into town right before the symposium so Friday afternoon or anytime Saturday.
Hey Matt, I'm really excited that you're coming to our Symposium. I've looked at Politifact before and am intensely interested in the issue of "information quality" in media (validity, reliability, accuracy etc.), in particular in online video. Would love to set up some extra time to chat with you one-on-one about this.
Grayson, got your message. I'll be looking for you at the conference to say hello.
David Allison
Grayson, Nick,
This sounds like a really cool conference. Looking forward to meeting you both.
David
Hi Grayson, I'm one of the organizers for the Symposium and doing my dissertation on the collaborative evaluation of online political video. I'd love the chat with you!
